· Synopsis:

In the twenty-second year of Kangxi’s reign, the seas are far from calm. The Zheng family rules Taiwan as an independent power in the southeast, while the powerful Feng Xifan murders his lord and usurps power, intending to sacrifice the family of Shi Lang, a general who once surrendered from the previous dynasty.

In a single night, Shi Lang’s wife, children, and other family members in the capital are slaughtered, their blood staining the gates of his residence. Far away with the Fujian navy, Shi Lang receives a false accusation of treason and collusion with the enemy. He is thrown into prison and sentenced to execution after the autumn harvest!

Back from hell, he finds everything changed. Once known as the “Sea Thunderbolt,” Shi Lang now bears the traitor’s name and the blood feud of his murdered family. He stains his own reputation and joins the enemy’s camp. Everyone sees him as a broken-backed stray dog, cast out and abandoned.

But in this pit of humiliation, he sharpens his claws and secretly gathers his strength. Then, one day, a thousand sails set out, their blades pointed at Penghu!

“Everyone calls me Shi Lang a traitor. Today, I’ll use that traitor’s name to send the remnants of the Great Ming to their graves, and make my entire Shi family’s blood debt, paid in blood!”
