We Agreed to a Snowball Fight, but from the Start You Sent Me to Lake Changjin

"Squad leader... don't fall asleep... please, don't fall asleep!" "It's only a game! You're an NPC, you don't have to push yourself so hard!" At the Dead Eagle Ridge position, the internet's most outrageous streamer, "Pig God," kneels in a snowdrift, clutching the frozen body of a one-armed soldier and sobbing like a 200-pound child. Just moments ago, this NPC took the full blast of an American incendiary bomb with his back to protect the company's only mess kit. This is the hell-difficulty Changjin Lake instance. There's none of the fantastical heroics of war dramas, just "fingers frozen off," "belts boiled soft," and "comrades who can never be woken again." The arrogant pro gamer "Night Owl" freezes his index finger to the trigger while defending the position, becoming an eternal sniper. The pampered, gorgeous top streamer "Nuomi" refuses to be a burden. She uses her body heat to warm the company's life-saving radio, freezing herself into an ice sculpture. When the charge horn sounds, the players see ice sculptures stretching across the mountains, every one of them holding their ground to the death. Five hundred million viewers across the internet rise to their feet, tears streaming down their faces: "How is this a game? It's a memorial that's a hundred years overdue!" "If we don't fight this battle, our children will have to fight it!"
