The Pistol Squad: A Legend

When the Battle of Shanghai breaks out in 1932, three sworn brothers from the 19th Route Army's Pistol Brigade, Zhang Haiyang, Zhao Lingyun, and Wang Dali, lead the surviving men of their pistol battalion in a bloody fight against the enemy, only to suffer devastating losses. Scattered in different directions after being driven to the brink, Zhang Haiyang is rescued by embroidery merchant Liu Ruyun. Once recovered, he sets out to find his brothers and reunite the old unit, rebuilding the Iron-Blooded Pistol Squad. With courage and skill, they punish collaborators, seize weapons, and fight Japanese spies, setting off a storm of resistance in Shanghai. Through misunderstandings and sacrifice, the three brothers remain true to their vow to protect their homeland, holding the line around Greater Shanghai with their own flesh and blood.
