Japanese Entertainment: My Diva Girlfriend Is Nakamori Akina

New book out: Reborn in 1989, Starting by Snatching the Golden Screen. The protagonist is still Akina. I hope you’ll show it plenty of support.

Transmigrating to Tokyo in 1989, at the height of the bubble economy.

It was the final year of the Showa era and the beginning of the Heisei era. The legend of a generation’s diva was drawing to a close.

At a Shibuya crossing on a rainy day, Fujiwara Hoshino met a devastated Akina Nakamori. He silently offered her an umbrella, and unexpectedly activated his “Warmth and Healing System.”

Give her a comforting hug and receive [Showa Hit Songwriting Talent].

Write her a timeless love song and receive [Peak Arranging Ability].

In that glittering, decadent era, Fujiwara Hoshino decided to use his talent and warmth to give this girl, hurt by the whole world, a sky that would always be clear.

Many years later, people would call him “the God of Music of the Heisei era.” But he knew he was only the boy who had held an umbrella over Akina Nakamori.
