Taking the sixty-four hexagrams of the "Book of Changes" as the skeleton, each hexagram derives an independent chapter, which is connected through the "hexagram interpreter" to form a grand narrative that spans thousands of years. The story begins with the Jingkang Incident in the Northern Song Dynasty and ends with the metaphysical crisis in the near future, running through the fateful reincarnation of three generations of hexagram interpreters.
