Journey to the West: This Monk Really Can't Stick to the Script

[Not a prehistoric fantasy] [Close to the original] [Lighthearted and funny]

Lin Xuan transmigrates into Tang Sanzang, but arrives too early, before the pilgrimage has even begun. He doesn’t even have a System, so all he can do is live as a monk, getting up early to chant sutras and eat vegetarian food. He can’t even look at a woman. He was planning to follow Tang Sanzang’s original script, complete the pilgrimage, and become a Buddha. But just as he receives the Brocade Kasaya Guanyin gave him, a System appears. It’s a System that plunders Heavenly Dao merit, and he can’t follow the original script anymore, or it will deduct his merit points and kill him.
