Loyal to the Nation: I Came from the Modern Age

When Lin Feng, a border guard, fell with his blood staining the snowy mountains, his soul transmigrated through eight hundred years of war and into the body of Yue Fei, a famous general of the Southern Song. When he opened his eyes, he saw the shattered lands of the Central Plains and heard the clash of weapons and the roar of battle. He had become the very “Lord Yue Wumu” destined to die unjustly.

Armed with modern military knowledge and the foresight to see what was coming, Lin Feng swore to rewrite history! He reshaped the Yue Family Army with the iron discipline of the People’s Liberation Army, forging an invincible force through modular training, dismantling the Jin cavalry with guerrilla tactics, and using an intelligence network to predict enemy movements. When the battle of Yancheng came again, he no longer gambled everything on a reckless charge. Instead, coordinated infantry and artillery, combined with psychological warfare, brought the enemy to its knees. Outside Zhuxian Town, he joined forces with Han Shizhong’s navy to cut off Wanyan Zongbi’s escape route, reclaiming the gateway to Bianjing in one decisive stroke!

Yet the shadow of victory crept over Lin’an. Qin Hui’s spies infiltrated the army, and Zhao Gou’s twelve golden orders were already on their way. This time, Lin Feng had laid his plans in advance: he backed loyal officials to balance the court, strengthened the nation’s foundations with new land-settlement policies, and took advantage of unrest within the Jin to divide and dismantle the enemy alliance. As the fires of revenge blazed north of the Yellow River, he stood atop the walls of Yanjing and sneered, “In this life, Yue Fei will not die, and China will not fall!”

From military farming in Xiangyang to the decisive battle at Huanglong, from improving gunpowder to establishing military academies, he used modern wisdom to kindle the flame of civilization. Behind the soldiers’ cry, “It’s easy to shake a mountain, but hard to shake the Yue Family Army,” stood a radar-like reconnaissance system and standardized supply lines. The people of the Central Plains welcomed their royal army with food and drink, but they were also welcoming fertile fields nourished by hybrid rice.

This is a battle of redemption across time. The spirit of a modern soldier awakens a legendary general, while the light of technology tears through
