In 2050 AD, a mysterious "dark matter storm" swept across the world, causing the collapse of human society and the proliferation of mutated organisms. The protagonist Lin Yuan (formerly a professor of geology) awakens the ability of "emotional resonance" in a disaster - he can absorb the strong emotions of others and temporarily copy their skills.
