The Bittersweet Sweetness of Years Past

Secret campus crush | The one who got away | Regretful pursuit | Devoted second male lead

At seventeen, Pei Wei fell in love with Zhou Muhe at first sight.

She carefully inched closer, starting out as an ordinary friend. Once she had gathered all her courage, she confessed, and things went well: she and the boy she liked got together.

But beneath the sweetness, an unspoken shadow always lingered.

When a secret from the past came to light, their relationship fell apart.

By the time Zhou Muhe belatedly realized the truth, the girl who had once looked at him as if he were her whole world had already closed the door on ever turning back.

One person pursued her frantically, consumed by regret. Another waited in silence.

That story from their youth was half sweet, half bittersweet.
