Don’t Be Afraid, Little Mouse, the Nine Streams Sect’s Strategist Is Back

[Xue Chou transmigration what-if] [Lighthearted Jiuliu Sect daily life] [Lots of original plot, with little involvement in the main storyline or the Young Master]

The Jiuliu Sect is a family of loyal heroes. Though it has lasted for only two generations, it has still carved out a place for itself in Kaifeng amid this turbulent age.

Years ago, Zhu Yousheng, as the Ghost Market's leader, founded the Jiuliu Sect. With strategist Xue Chou's help, he held off the Khitan. If Hong Si had not betrayed them, the Ash Pit would never have been seized by the Wuyou Gang, and there would have been no need to mention the Ghost Fan Tower's human trafficking.

But the past is set in stone and cannot be changed. These days, the Wuyou Gang and the Jiuliu Sect are constantly clashing and feuding in Jiaomen Alley. As both strategist and the Jiuliu Sect's true leader, Xue Chou knows better than anyone that provoking another conflict would only make everyone's lives even harder.

He wants no more fighting and only longs to retire, but with the Jiuliu Sect leaderless, he has no choice but to keep things going. He maintains the fragile peace, using petty theft and small-scale mischief to annoy the Wuyou Gang, keep the situation stable, and lead the Jiuliu Sect like duckweed drifting through a chaotic age.

That day, when Zhu Yousheng in his ghost-soldier state was dispersed by a single swing of the wanderer's sword, and Liu Changsheng rambled to the wanderer, saying, “Heaven and earth may accept me, but I cannot accept myself,” Xue Chou was watching from the shadows of a cave.

He could not sort through the weight of his feelings. Nor could he have imagined that the very next moment, he would return to the day before Hong Si betrayed him.
