Fear of Chichi

A belated awakening and redemption. After receiving a text from Yue Yue, Chi Cheng left his lover Wu Suowei without a word of explanation and disappeared for three whole months. During those months, Wu Suowei endured the crushing pain of losing his mother alone, his heart slowly dying amid anxiety and despair. When Chi Cheng finally returned, all he got was Wu Suowei’s calm, resolute words: “Chi Cheng, let’s break up.” Only then did Chi Cheng truly understand what he had lost. To win him back, he offered the most absolute promise the law could recognize, placing the power to decide whether they lived or died in the other’s hands. It was a romantic confession, and a promise to devote the rest of his life to him.
