Soul transmigration + invincible from the start + harem + hilarious banter + characters who aren't dumbed down + an era of grand battles of wits
Chen Anxu raised an eyebrow and glanced sideways, tapping the book cover with his fingertip as he said without mercy, “Author, take a look at this thunderous cover and the blurb you put with it. It's a complete pile of filth! Zhuge Jing, don't you agree?”
Narrator (the author's secret identity), aggrieved, protested, “Someone got to the title first! My work isn't filth! It's not a pile of crap!”
Zhuge Jing gently waved his folding fan. Its tip paused as he smiled at Chen Anxu beside him, indulgence and affection hidden in his eyes. He slowly nodded. “Not necessarily.”
The Narrator's eyes instantly sparkled with hope. “Wonderful! At last, someone understands me!”
Zhuge Jing folded his fan and calmly added, “Mm! It's just trash that could've been thrown in the bin sooner.”
Chen Anxu clapped his hands and laughed, eagerly agreeing. “Exactly! It's a big pile of crap!”
Narrator: ...
(╥﹏╥) He fell to his knees, draped a white strip of cloth around his neck like he was about to hang himself, and promptly cried himself unconscious in the restroom!
The misplaced time-travel part of the game is very innovative. The protagonist Chen Anxu's soul penetrates the body of the demon king, and he is trapped in the gambling game at the beginning. There are a lot of humorous dialogues at the beginning, but the plot takes a sharp turn later on. The conflict in Salo City is very poignant, and the characters' choices are full of struggles. Friends who like fairy tales about fateful games and about no absolute boundaries between good and evil can read it.
