Here's the premise, folks: after Qi Tongwei kills himself, he wakes up to find he's become Li Yunlong, fighting the Japanese at Cangyun Ridge.
At first, he thinks it's just an ordinary transmigration and rebirth story: use modern knowledge to fight the Japanese, have a good time, and call it a day.
But then he discovers that the diary he seized contains strange terms like “Prism” and “test subject”; the people in the captured photographs shouldn't exist until 2026; only he can see the blue light descending over the battlefield; and a Japanese prisoner he's interrogating suddenly asks him in Handong dialect, “Why is Director Qi here too?”
That's when he understands: he wasn't the only one who transmigrated.
Something called “Butterfly Project” sent more people into this era. But everyone's identity has been scrambled: some became Eighth Route Army soldiers, some became collaborators, and some ended up in the Shanxi-Suiyuan Army.
Even more terrifying, that Japanese major, Yamamoto Ichiki, is also a transmigrator, from the Japanese National Police Agency in 1997.
Two transmigrators have met in this era.
Are they enemies or allies? Who is the player, and who is the pawn? What is the person in that photograph trying to tell him?
The war Qi Tongwei must fight isn't just the War of Resistance against Japan. It's also a war across more than eighty years of time.
Volume 1 is complete, with 10 volumes in total. What comes next:
Original characters will appear one after another (Hou Liangping, Gao Yuliang, Zhao Donglai... they're all in this era, but their identities have changed).
The mystery will keep building (photographs, diaries, blue light, gear-shaped butterflies: every chapter brings a new clue).
The combination of Qi Tongwei and Li Yunlong was a dimensionality-reducing blow to little Japan during the Anti-Japanese War. Multiplayer rebirth, multiplayer time travel, espionage, science fiction... Full of suspense and excitement!
Very beautiful, the more I look at it, the more I like it
