Slaying Gods in Chaoge: Is Daji’s Son Nezha?

Su Su, an actress who died by suicide in despair, unexpectedly transmigrates into the world of Investiture of the Gods as Su Daji. Through a twist of fate, she conceives the Primordial Pearl and gives birth to Nezha.

In this world, humans, immortals, and demons coexist.

Su Su knows perfectly well that if she obeys the demon queen, Lady Nuwa, and seduces and corrupts King Zhou of Shang, the human sovereign, then once the deed is done, she will not only be disgraced, but Jiang Ziya will also show no mercy to a “monster” like her, who has brought ruin to the kingdom. He will surely send her to the Demon-Slaying Terrace to be executed.

So Su Su boldly defies Lady Nuwa’s orders. She stops deliberately trying to seduce King Zhou and refuses to commit any more heinous acts. Instead, she takes it easy in Chaoge, flirting for fun with the young noblemen sent as hostages from various feudal states.

The three brothers from Xiqi are especially to her liking: Ji Yi is handsome, Ji Fa is heroic, and Ji Dan is refined.

Unfortunately, Lady Nuwa, the mistress of the fox spirit, is hardly going to let Su Su off so easily. She keeps up the pressure, forcing Su Su to carry out the plan as soon as possible.

At the same time, the human race despises Su Su, the so-called “fox spirit,” and is always looking for a chance to kill her.

As for the immortals, they gradually come to see Su Su as the greatest obstacle to enslaving humanity through the Investiture of the Gods...
