“When divine favor becomes a shackle, I'll shatter this scripted world with my own hands.”
In the remote northern frontier, Yue Yang, the young lord of Cedar Village, witnesses a god descend unexpectedly during the Rite of Revelation. The deity grants him a mysterious “Bronze Die” and proclaims him a chosen one. It should have been the beginning of a glorious future, but instead, it draws him into the struggle between theocracy and kingship.
With the cards and divine revelations granted by the die, Yue Yang defends his village from pirates and cultists, establishes a new domain, and even mounts an expedition to a cursed island, winning the loyalty of exiles from another world. Yet after repelling an abyssal invasion and quelling a northern rebellion, he discovers the same shadow lurking behind every crisis: the beings enthroned above are treating the mortal realm as a chessboard.
The Twilight of the Gods arrives unexpectedly, and the deities fall to earth.
Yet Yue Yang's Bronze Die System continues to operate. Its ultimate trial is to collect the divinity of every god and open the path to the divine realm.
When he leads an army of mortals into the land of the gods, he finds not glorious temples, but a shattered divine realm, fallen laws, and the world's barriers being devoured by outer gods from the void. The Three Sovereigns of Fate kneel before him and reveal a cruel truth:
This world, along with its so-called gods, heroes, and demon kings, is nothing more than a “test program” written by higher beings, endlessly replaying a predetermined story.
Pseudo-DND novel, the plot is ups and downs, relatively slow, not bad
