The pairing is Haku and the White Dragon. Haku is a gentle, witty bottom, while the White Dragon is a cool, courteous top. The White Dragon is the first to fall secretly for Haku. He acts haughty but gets jealous easily, as Haku grows more handsome, easygoing, and charming, drawing more and more people to his side. The White Dragon quietly feels a little inferior, but never says so. Haku gradually notices that something is different about him and begins to fall for him, too.
This is a story about Haku growing up in the bathhouse and learning magic from Granny Kamaji.
After his adoptive parents turn into pigs in the spirit world, fifteen-year-old Haku is forced to work at the bathhouse.
The White Dragon guides Haku to ask Yubaba for a job. Yubaba tags him as “Little Haku.”
The White Dragon finds himself unable to stop looking at Haku, and often gets secretly jealous.
After Haku grows up, he helps the White Dragon leave the bathhouse, and the two set off together on a journey to Europe, where they explore Haku's origins.
