Transmigrate into a Book as the Villain: I Rewrite the Plot by Investing in the Supporting Heroines

The protagonist, Gu Yang, transmigrates into a mindless power fantasy novel he had just complained about, becoming a top-tier villainous rich kid with the same name as the original character. According to the original plot, he’ll keep picking fights with the protagonist, get face-slapped over and over, and eventually lose his family and meet a tragic end. To make matters worse, he transmigrated right at the key plot point where he is about to drug the original story’s first heroine, the icy CEO Chu Bingyao.

Just as he is preparing to run, the [Supporting Female Character Fate Investment System] activates. The System tells him that if he saves the supporting female characters who were treated as tools by the protagonist and met tragic ends in the original story, and invests in them to change their fates, he can earn “Heaven’s Mandate Rewrite Points.” These points can be exchanged for money, skills, combat prowess, and even the ability to weaken the original protagonist’s “main-character aura.”

Gu Yang immediately abandons the suicidal plan to drug the heroine. Instead, he uses his knowledge of the plot to find Lin Shiyu, a supporting female character who is about to be forced into marriage with an old man because her family is going bankrupt. When Lin Shiyu is at her most desperate, Gu Yang arrives like a godsend, resolves her family’s crisis with a sum of money, and tells her that the mastermind behind it is the original protagonist.

The investment succeeds, earning Gu Yang a large number of Heaven’s Mandate Points, which he uses to obtain god-tier combat skills. From then on, he plays the role of an arrogant, domineering villain to attract the original protagonist’s hatred, while secretly stealing one opportunity after another that should have belonged to the protagonist and saving one supporting female character after another who was destined for a tragic fate.
