Civilization Simulator: I Raise Gods in Higher Dimensions

What do we become when we become “gods”?

When Lin Mo gained the divine status to rule over the fate of a civilization, he faced a dilemma that was both philosophical and practical: seventeen gray elf believers were waiting to die in the freezing night, and he had only 0.1 faith points.

This was a deliberately designed universe. Gods were experimental variables, civilizations were observational samples, and every struggle was numbered and archived to resist the ultimate extinction known as the “Void.” Wars, assimilation, alliances, betrayal… all were scenarios in the experiment’s preset plan.

Lin Mo chose a path that deviated from the script.

He infused his divine nature with reason and empathy, turning top-down gifts into enlightenment from within.

He proved that the weakest race might harbor genes capable of transcending dimensions, and that the most desperate circumstances could give rise to the most resilient civilizations.

But the true test was not survival. It was what came after success. When his civilization stood at the summit of the starry river, the System offered a choice: become an eternal yet motionless “civilization specimen,” or join the eternal yet hopeless “War of Order.”

Lin Mo and his civilization gave a third answer.

It was an answer about the dignity of free will, about the insignificant challenging their fate, and about the almost tragic romance of insisting on creating meaning in a universe destined for nothingness.

This is a story about becoming a god, defying the gods, and ultimately transcending them.

It asks: if a civilization’s meaning must be bestowed by a god, is that meaning itself still worth protecting?
