Zhu Shunshui, an old professor who has spent his life studying the history of the Republic of China, mysteriously traveled back to the Peking University campus in 1919 on the eve of his retirement.
With all the historical memories of the future, he knows the abyss ahead better than anyone else. He is determined to change all that, and this is an expedition that is not alone.
