[Brooding, Unhinged Tyrant VS Extreme Social Anxiety]
[Angst-Ridden Romance + Mutual Purity Amid Illness + Coercive Possession + Intense, Ambiguous Push and Pull + Mutual Salvation]
In a single moment, she transmigrated into the position of the brooding, unhinged tycoon's direct superior.
The good news: She's a dazzling heroine adored by everyone.
The bad news: This isn't a sweet romance. In a story about sworn enemies, she's destined to become the captive of the brooding, unhinged tycoon, the ultimate loser.
Sheng Huarong, heiress to the Sheng Group, is arrogant and domineering. She constantly beats and slaps Su Qinyu, a poor nobody at the company. She calls him lowborn, even forces him to kneel and lick her shoes, and treats him like a dog every day.
That is, until Su Qinyu gets his hands on the Sheng Group's core technology, strikes out on his own, and quickly becomes a rising star in the industry.
At a business reception, he reclaims his identity as an heir to a wealthy family.
Then the hunt begins. He drives the Sheng Group into bankruptcy, her mother jumps from a building, her father goes to prison, and she's left destitute.
Su Qinyu imprisons and abuses her, threatening her life, chaining her by the neck, burning her back with a branding iron, and subjecting her to all sorts of humiliation. Five years later, she loses her mind and swallows a knife to kill herself.
The good news: She transmigrated before the tycoon made it big.
The bad news: She just splashed tea all over him and called him a filthy mutt.
A few months later.
Old Master Su pounds his wheelchair in fury: "Bring back the woman who abused my son! I'll peel her skin off and break every bone in her body!!!"
Su Qinyu holds the woman in his arms. "Hungry? What would you like to eat?"
It's a good read. I finished it in one day. It's short and concise. The scenes where the heroine gets along with the original protagonist's parents really poked me. There's also the extremely dangerous ambiguous pull between the male and female protagonists. It's so touching!
