Reborn!: Lone Flame: Vongola Chronicles

Don't read this old embarrassing work, it's really awful! It's not that I don't want to delete it, but Tomato Novel won't let me delete a completed story!!!

An orphan girl adopted by the Ninth Generation, she watched her childhood companion XANXUS go mad after learning the truth about his bloodline, then lead the Varia in reducing Vongola headquarters to ruins. When the icy light swallowed the once-proud boy, she wiped the blood and ash from her face and took on the burden of rebuilding the family.

Eight years later, the orphan girl had become the youngest core member of Vongola. The Storm Flames in her hands were no longer a force of pure destruction, but a blade for defending order. Then the Ninth Generation placed a name before her: Sawada Tsunayoshi, fourteen years old, a good-for-nothing middle school student, and a direct descendant of Vongola's First Generation.

Liya regarded him with cold detachment. She had seen too many souls corrupted by power, and this green young boy was just another pawn destined to be sacrificed on the mafia's chessboard.

But when the Kokuyo Gang's shadows fell over Namimori, when the Ring Battle's smoke rose once more, and when the despairing future arc dragged everyone into its clutches, Liya gradually realized that this boy possessed exactly what Vongola had lost a century ago:

The “innocence” to keep protecting his friends even in the direst straits, and the “foolishness” to keep believing in human nature even in the darkness.

Meanwhile, the frozen wolf of eight years was about to break free of his cage.

XANXUS returned with frostbite scars all over his face, his obsession undiminished and his hatred even deeper. The bonds they once shared had long since become a sharp blade, hanging over Vongola's tottering future.

“This time, I won't let anyone destroy what my father protected.”

Including you, XANXUS.
