Hey, I'm Human!

After waking from a car accident, Sheng Ke finds himself as the weakest three-leaf sword grass in the primordial world. Near death from the start and surrounded by powerful foes, his only support is the nearly shattered Book of the Great Dao of Creation, which transmigrated with him. Recording, concealing, analyzing... Its broken abilities let him glimpse a sliver of hope while trapped in the body of a blade of grass. He optimizes photosynthesis, outwits vine demons, wields his leaves as swords, and scavenges for survival on the fringes of the battlefield where the remnants of the Wu and Yao clans clash. He slips into a chaotic market, only to get caught up in a conspiracy involving a secret pawn of the Jie Sect. He steals a spiritual fruit and is hunted by a giant serpent, narrowly escaping death... With one broken book and one battered blade of grass, he lies low and grows in the shadow of the Sages' gaze. When he finally takes human form and leaves the mountains, the entire primordial world discovers that the unremarkable sword grass has already put down roots in depths that make even them tremble. "I wish to become an immortal, but the primordial world won't allow it? Then I'll... make my own way!"
