[Original, upright, rational and out of control general attack/He Shiheng VS flexible, sophisticated, casual and conservative/Jiang Xiwen]
[Two male protagonists + traveling through the past and present + double cleansing + forbearance and pulling + HE]
He Shiheng, the general of the Yan State in the north, fell off a cliff with the emperor amidst the fire that filled the sky to rescue him. He opened his eyes again and appeared on a film and television set in a modern ancient city. Jiang Xiwen, who came to look for his friend, was mistaken for a heatstroke group performance and was brought back to Qinsheng Pavilion.
Jiang Xiwen took He Shiheng in and taught him to adapt to modern rules. The two got along day and night, and their feelings secretly grew.
But ethics have often become a shackles for He Shiheng. He firmly believes that it is against justice for a man to stay together, so he buries his love deeply. Jiang Xiwen was well aware of the gap between the two people's opinions and chose to remain silent. This everlasting love has become the most painful torture for each other. Under the moonlight of Qinsheng Pavilion, they looked at each other speechlessly, both hoping that the other would find the "right path", and their forbearing feelings broke through this shackles.
Jiang Xiwen: "General He, why don't you dare to damage the hair and skin of your body, which is given to you by your parents? Is it right for your men and women to stay together? Is it against ethics for your men to be together? Your... Hmm"
He Shiheng: "As long as it's you, I won't defend you at all."
