Armor! Call Me That Again and I'll Get a Van Full of Guys to Deal With You!

[Switching First-Person Perspectives + Dongshan, the Ultimate Simp + Mental Breakdown]

My name is Dongshan. I’m the summoner of the Wind Eagle Armor… or, you could say, a dog at Li Xinnan’s feet.

My job every day is to clean up the remains of the supernatural beasts, and

stand outside the door, listening to Meizhen make those sounds in Li Xinnan’s room.

“Dongshan, go be Beiming’s punching bag. If he’s in a bad mood, you don’t get to eat.”

One word from Li Xinnan, and I have to stand still, letting that lunatic Beiming break my ribs and use me as a living punching bag to vent his violence.

“Kunzhong, come over and wipe my sweat.”

Watching the child who used to be so innocent crawl over on his knees like a slave, serving the tyrant with practiced ease, I actually feel a little relieved, relieved that I’m still useful.

What drives me to despair most is when Meizhen pushes open the door, her face flushed, and sees me covered in blood. The contempt in her eyes pierces my soul:

“Dongshan, get lost. Don’t dirty your master’s carpet with your filthy blood.”

At that moment, I kneel on the ground and laugh through my tears. “Yes. Thank you, Miss Meizhen. Thank you, Master.”
