A Taoist Priest's Ten Years of Secret Tales

Would you believe it? Ghosts really exist.

My name is Su Ye. I was sixteen when a car accident shattered the barrier between the worlds of yin and yang, and I spent the next eleven years as a Taoist priest.

Thai amulets, the Five Ghosts Bringing Wealth, the pen fairy, raising little ghosts: I’ve seen it all.

The people who break my heart the most are:

The boy left to tend the corpse-driving trade alone,

The Nuo shaman guarding a thousand-year-old tradition,

And the Miao Gu, misunderstood by the world but only trying to protect their village.

No one is born evil. It is the greed, anger, and delusion in people’s hearts that make them so.

I don’t capture ghosts. I help one unfortunate person after another.
