During the Chongzhen reign of the Ming dynasty, Shen Cong trained ten disciples on Xianfeng Mountain. Each of them possessed extraordinary skills, though the details were unknown to outsiders. All they knew was that an organization called the Ten Illusory Blades existed on the mountain. These ten were all Shen Cong’s direct disciples, and the heroine, Li Xiaosheng, was one of them. But times changed, the Ming dynasty fell, and Shen Cong passed away after falling ill. He handed power over to Liu Qingshan, who chose to seal off the mountain. The ten disciples then descended to make their own way in the world. The heroine, too, set out to discover what she truly wanted and explore the mortal world.
