A modern history graduate student traveled through time and became Yuan Xun, the deposed prince of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty. He prevented him from escaping north to Pingcheng at the critical moment in AD 496. He relied on his understanding of history to survive in complex political struggles, and finally inherited the unification and corrected the shortcomings of the Sinicization reform, unified the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and established a prosperous age.
