Monk, the Grand Eunuch Says He Loves You

Forced to become a monk, Xie Qingyan wants only revenge.

He sets his sights on Bai Yuan, the powerful eunuch known as the Nine-Thousand-Year-Old, rumored to be cruel and merciless.

But when he gets close, he discovers:

Bai Yuan secretly lays an extra robe beside him while he copies sutras, and braves the snow to pick a branch for him just because he said, “The plum blossoms are blooming.”

On the wildest night, Bai Yuan kneels before him and presses a trembling kiss to the top of his foot.

“Qingyan, you are the light I... stole.”

Later, the new emperor personally decrees their marriage, stunning the court.

For him, Xie Qingyan enters the mortal world. For him, Bai Yuan gives up his post and retires to Jiangnan, where falling blossoms drift night after night as he dotes on him.
