An Interstellar Powerhouse Helps Her Motherland Soar in the 1970s

[Mad Genius vs. Devoted General | Period Revenge + Building a Technological Power]

Interstellar Marshal Ye Xingchen is reborn in 1975 as a doormat, abused by her mother-in-law and betrayed by her husband.

She punches her vicious mother-in-law, kicks her sister-in-law, and turns around to send the whole family to prison.

Heading north to catch her husband cheating, she takes down a human trafficking gang on the train and happens to pick up a handsome military officer who can't have children.

Everyone says Gu Ping'an is cursed and brings death to his wives, but Ye Xingchen just laughs. “What a coincidence. I don't want kids either.”

On their wedding night, she lays down three rules, and he blushes. “Whatever you say.”

Later on

She researches BeiDou and builds fighter jets, while he guards her with his gun.

She launches aircraft carriers and satellites, while he hides his medals in her desk drawer.

She brings China's technological progress forward by twenty years, and in front of the whole world, he says:

“My wife, Ye Xingchen.”

When the United Nations awards her its highest science prize, she smiles at the cameras:

“My stars will shine for our motherland forever.”
