The asphalt pavement in the city still retains the residual warmth of the autumn sun. The sycamore leaves are curled and sliding across the ground in the breeze. The sound of traffic is accompanied by the hawking on the street. Everyone has something to do.
No one saw the changes in the sky.
First, a faint to almost transparent silver appeared on the very distant skyline, like clouds, like the refraction of light, a background color not worth mentioning in the daily sky of the city.
Until the silver rose at a speed visible to the naked eye, spreading from the skyline to the top of the head, like a huge piece of silver silk glowing with cold light, instantly wrapping the entire city. The gusting wind was bitingly cold, carrying fine silver dust, which hit the skin, causing itchiness from the light prick of a fine needle.
Someone raised his head, raised his hand to cover his eyes, and muttered "What the hell". The moment his fingertips touched the silver dust, his skin turned red and rashed at a speed visible to the naked eye, and pain shot up along his nerves.
The scream suddenly exploded.
The silver dust fell more and more densely, turning from mist into a dust storm that blocked the sky and the sun. There was only a chaotic silver between the sky and the earth. The sunlight was completely swallowed up, and the city instantly fell into darkness.
The car stalled, the street lights suddenly went out, and the glass curtain wall was corroded by silver dust to form fine cracks. The crackling sound mixed with the cries of the crowd, creating chaos.
Someone was running and tripped into the silver dust. The areas where their bodies came into contact quickly fester. The wailing sound quickly weakened and was swallowed up by the roar of the dust storm.
The radiation is silent, using silver dust as a blade to split open the peace of the world.
The sky and the earth lost color, and everything was silent.
