Everyone in the cultivation world knows Xie Wujie, the pinnacle of the Supreme Path of Forgetting Emotion. He is only one step away from ascension: cutting off his worldly ties.
But after a century in seclusion, he still couldn’t sever the invisible red thread around his wrist.
Then, before the Heart-Testing Mirror, he saw a girl named Jiang Yao with an identical red thread wrapped around her wrist, glowing faintly.
The “final worldly tie” he had searched for in vain was now bound to a Qi Refining disciple.
Worse still, the thread was a “life-and-death bond”: when she was hurt, he felt pain; if she died, he would die too.
On her very first day of cultivation, Jiang Yao had her life bar linked to the person in the entire cultivation world who most wanted her dead.
He watched coldly as she faced danger, only for his own heart to ache a moment later;
he tried to teach her the “Severing Ties Art,” but the thread struck back and made them both spit blood;
when she was accused of being a monster, he tried to stand aside, but his cultivation began to waver.
Xie Wujie clutched the red thread he couldn’t break free of and laughed in exasperation.
“Fine. From today on, your life is in my hands.”
“Until I find a way to resolve this, you’d better stay alive.”
And as Jiang Yao looked at this “archenemy,” who wanted to grind her bones to dust yet had no choice but to shield her from every open attack and hidden scheme, she quietly pulled out a little notebook:
"How to Drive My Bound Big Shot Completely Insane by Making Him Choose Between Killing Me and Protecting Me"
Later, the Three Realms collapsed, and the Demon Lord descended.
Xie Wujie shielded her tightly behind him, his bloodstained fingers gently brushing the red thread around her wrist.
His thousand-year-old Daoist heart shattered with a crisp, resounding crack.
“This life,” he murmured hoarsely, pressing his forehead to hers, “I don’t think... I can bear to take it back.”
[Founding Master of the Heartless Path x Bound Nemesis]
It's quite good-looking, but the whole article is very bland and has a long-flowing feel, which has nothing to do with the introduction. Sometimes it feels messy, especially in the back. After thinking about it, I still feel that it's so confusing. Are there some holes that haven't been filled in? What does the stone that the villain gave me with the words "Xie" and "Jiang" engraved on it mean? Is it a hint that Ah Yao is Ah Yuan, or something. From the back, I feel like the heroine doesn't look like Ah Yuan either.
It's good-looking. Although the content has nothing to do with the title or introduction other than the character's name, it's really good-looking. 👍👍
