Lu Feng is caught in a thunderstorm while carrying out a border reconnaissance mission and transmigrates to 1937, after the Marco Polo Bridge Incident. He witnesses the atrocities committed by the Japanese invaders and saves Gouzi and Wang Erzhu. After binding himself to the Iron-Blooded Resistance System, he completes his first mission to kill Japanese soldiers and receives basic supplies and tactical advice. He gradually gets his bearings, evades Japanese patrols, and builds his own resistance force, growing it into a formidable outfit and restoring its glory.
