Journey to the West in the Wasteland: Full Firepower

[Wasteland punk] [Mechanical ascension] [Guns-blazing Journey to the West]

The most heavily armed, radically reimagined Journey to the West: a steady barrage of heavy artillery, where fetching the scriptures doesn't matter nearly as much as giving people a proper send-off. My Buddha is merciful: spare neither man nor beast!

[No mind games, just muscle] [No romance] [No rebirth, no transmigration, no System]

Many images ahead: this is an encyclopedia of weapons.

The tone is light and fun, but with dark humor. If you like the style of Guardians of the Galaxy and Mad Max, you've found the right book.

In the wasteland left behind after civilization's destruction, resurgent spiritual energy has fused with radioactive dust, forming the [Wasteland Spiritual Energy] that spreads across the world. Survivors contaminated by it mutate and gain all kinds of incredible abilities.

To make the Tang Dynasty great again, the funeral mage Tang Sanzang drives a heavy assault vehicle west in search of the mechanical dragon vein. Along the way, he will take on three disciples: the nuclear-powered, bio-modified Sun Xingzhe; the gunpowder alchemist Zhu Bajie; and the green-skinned engineer Sha Wujing.

Their enemies are terrifying roaming machines, bizarre mutated creatures, frenzied chemical hedonism, and the mysterious force lurking behind it all.

A bonkers story, a road-trip adventure, and a tale of brotherhood.
