[Plot-driven, with a focus on detail] [Not mindless] [No cliches] [A little mind game] [Female lead] [Vast worldbuilding] [A slightly slow start]
“Common rank, tier one. No attribute. Divine ability: Acceleration.”
Lin Sheng, a peak mage from another world, had just slain the Demon King. He should have been enjoying glory and riches, but in the next instant, he was forcibly summoned to an unfamiliar world.
During the so-called “Divine Miracle Baptism,” the divine ability he received was... Acceleration.
Random passerby: “That’s hilarious. Isn’t that just running a little faster? What’s it good for besides escaping?”
Low rank, no attribute, universally regarded as the most useless. Everyone laughs at him.
But Lin Sheng is so excited he’s practically going crazy.
While everyone else mocks his useless ability, he turns “Acceleration” into a disaster-class power:
Walking too slowly? Accelerate until he’s as swift as a divine courier.
Plants growing too slowly? Accelerate them until a forest springs up overnight.
A day passing too slowly? He can even accelerate the rotation of an entire planet!
What ordinary people see as a common ability becomes a forbidden power in his hands, capable of slaughtering demons and destroying gods.
Even so, in this brutal world where magic is restricted and demons from the Rift Abyss run rampant, he still has to tread carefully.
The more he learns about this world, the more lost he feels.
“Why are humans granted divine abilities?”
“Why are we called the Fallen when we fight for humanity’s survival?”
“...”
As one mystery after another is unraveled, all that awaits him is profound despair.
Years later, standing at the abyss of the world, Lin Sheng suddenly realizes
“I thought I came here to save the world...”
“I never imagined I’d be the one to bring about its end!”
[By the end, you’re sure to experience that exhilarating moment when everything suddenly clicks. Hope you enjoy!]
I can feel the author's care in writing the book. There are many places that have foreshadowing. The first confrontation with the Disintegrating Abyss Demon laid a lot of groundwork for the plot to be reasonable. Magic ➕ Power, there are many details, and it leaves a lot of foreshadowing. Let's see if it will be recycled later. The protagonist's quirky personality is quite interesting, but what is the connection between him and the heroine, and why there is a sense of closeness, depends on how the author sets it up later. Overall, it's not bad. I like reading this kind of logical and foreshadowing article, and I look forward to the unfolding of the so-called grand world view!
