Love Imprisoned, Reduced to Ashes

A possessive, obsessive scion of a powerful family × a pitiful, lonely little white flower | Reborn | Forced Love | Love and Hate Entwined |

In his previous life, Su Ruan was pushed by his family into delivering documents to Xie Jinyan. The sight of him shivering in the freezing rain caught Xie Jinyan’s eye and marked the beginning of his obsessive desire. Xie Jinyan pulled him out of the mire, only to lock him in a gilded cage. As Su Ruan lived under his absolute control, love and hatred tangled in his heart, until he died tragically in an accident during an attempt to fight back.

Reborn, Su Ruan clutches the money he needs to survive and tries to flee the city, only to run into Xie Jinyan on a street corner. Those fathomless eyes fix on him once more. This time, Xie Jinyan’s obsession is even stronger. Torn between escape and surrender, Su Ruan wrestles with the hatred he carried from his past life and the stirrings of his heart in this one. And as Xie Jinyan faces Su Ruan’s defiance and vulnerability, the brokenness beneath his obsessive exterior gradually comes to light. In their cage-like romance, the two tear open each other’s wounds, searching for a glimmer of redemption.
