Then, on graduation day, while sorting through her notebooks, she found tiny notes he'd written in the corners of every one.
“She looked at me for three seconds today.” “She said my headband looked nice.” “The hundredth day since she transferred to Rikkai.” “If only I could always be somewhere she could see me...”
He suddenly snatched the notebook away and, lowering his eyes, asked softly, “Have you learned the rules of tennis yet?”
