Tales of the Strange Lady of Qingxi

Farming + ensemble of women + ancient setting

Shanxi Valley, a paradise beyond the world for nine women fleeing hardship. They can live just fine without men: farming, hunting, and building stone houses. Until men arrive. Some want to take charge, while others come looking for trouble. The women don't rush or panic. They set rules and divide up the work, giving meals to those who deserve them and keeping the others at a distance. The men fall in line, and life goes on as usual. But eyes are still watching from the shadows, and the wolves in people's hearts are harder to guard against than the ones in the mountains.
