[Chinese-style biohazard horror + special forces squad + undercover twists + ultimate BOSS] Nonstop action with no dull moments: zombie hordes, desperate comebacks, and every chapter dancing on the edge of a blade!
A string of murders has been discovered on Qingya Mountain in western Hunan! Herbalists and hikers have been found dead in the woods, their bodies mutilated and marked with strange bite wounds. The authorities claim it was "a wild animal attack," hoping to cover up the truth, but rumors spread like rain mist through the mountains: there are "living dead" up there!
The Longyan Special Forces Squad is sent into the mist-shrouded mountains to search for the missing Bravo Squad. But as soon as Captain Zhao Yanzhi leads his team into the forest, they encounter the first zombified victim: the already-mutated captain of Bravo Squad!
As the zombie horde's howls rise all around them, the squad is forced to retreat into an abandoned ancient residence from the Ming and Qing dynasties, where they stumble upon a shocking secret. This "Haunted Tomb Manor" is no shelter at all, but a secret virus laboratory belonging to Huachen Biotech! The so-called "living dead" are actually victims infected by the out-of-control Huaxu Virus, and even the ultimate bioweapon, the "Black Armored Tyrant," lurks in the shadows.
Even worse, squad leader Zhao Yanzhi is an undercover agent planted by Huachen Biotech! His mission is to use the entire squad as live test subjects for the virus mutants, trading his teammates' blood for experimental data!
A rookie is killed by a mutated corpse mastiff. The undercover captain closes in, the Black Armored Tyrant breaks out of its cage, communications are cut, and every escape route is blocked. The squad is trapped with no way out!
Deputy Captain Chen Feng and scout Lin Yue join forces with Bravo Squad's survivors and Huachen intern researcher Tang Rui. Fighting through the encircling zombie horde, they head deep into the underground laboratory to find an inhibitor, determined to expose the undercover plot and defeat the ultimate BOSS!
