On the day Hongjun attained the Dao in Honghuang, Mingyou transmigrated there and became the otherworld flower, a supreme-grade innate spiritual root possessing the dual origins of the Sea of Blood and the Netherworld.
He broke free from Honghuang’s established path of cultivation and created a method of proving the Dao through Three Bodies. He comprehended the rules of reincarnation, opened an inner world of origin, and took control of the Great Dao of life and death. In the end, he became the Lord of Reincarnation and the Lord of Life and Death, ascending to the supreme realm of Mythic Daluo.
He helped Houtu perfect the foundations of the Earthly Dao and joined forces with Nuwa to establish the orthodox Human Dao, completing the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth in Honghuang. He traveled upstream through the river of time to take on disciples, forged an unparalleled System through his direct disciples, and used the cultivation of countless Hosts to nourish his own laws of the Great Dao.
Taking the Netherworld as his foundation and harnessing the Celestial Court and Buddhism as sources of merit, he relied on no schemes or sinister plots. He made the prosperity of Honghuang his Dao: the stronger Honghuang became, the greater he grew. Advancing Honghuang into an eternal cosmos was the ultimate Great Dao.
When he finally transcended the constraints of the universe and looked back, he realized that Honghuang was the most perfect world in all creation.
The Great Dao numbers fifty, while Heaven’s workings reveal forty-nine. He would use himself to complete the one that escaped. The Heavenly Dao was not the only path to sainthood: the Earthly Dao, Human Dao, and Demon Dao could all give rise to saints and reshape the order of the Great Dao in Honghuang.
He would follow neither the old path nor be confined by the Investiture of the Gods. Starting as a dual-origin spiritual root, he would step by step forge a supreme myth of the Great Dao, transcending reincarnation and ruling Honghuang.
The story moves at a brisk pace: he proves the Dao by chapter 90 and surpasses the saints by chapter 180.
