Portrait of Sin: Hunting the Killer's Two Faces

Seven years ago, a shipwreck left portrait artist Shen Yi with partial amnesia and a damaged gland, along with an enduring sense of guilt and an extraordinary talent for drawing portraits. Seven years later, the Criminal Psychology and Profiling Unit is officially established at the Beijiang Branch. Shen Yi returns to frontline criminal investigations as an artist, but his damaged gland and faint pheromones make him the subject of controversy.

From the “Rose Suppressant Case” to “Black-Market Gland Transplants,” from the “Mystery of the Mute Alpha's Studio” to the truth behind the “Pheromone Hunter,” a case spanning seven years, they will stand side by side through a labyrinth of crimes. When the hidden rules of ABO society become breeding grounds for crime, and the past comes surging back like a tide, can pine needles and whiskey find a balance and mingle amid the blood-red haze?

This is a pursuit of justice played out with paintbrushes and guns, and a journey of two people searching for a way forward amid reason and emotion, guilt and redemption, prejudice and understanding.
