[Synopsis]
Chen Chu, a doctor with PhDs in both Chinese and Western medicine, transmigrates into the body of a village girl whose lovesick foolishness brought disaster upon her entire family.
She opens her eyes to a nightmare from the start: her sister-in-law is hemorrhaging during a difficult birth, famine is spreading outside, and starving villagers with bloodshot eyes are rushing toward the last patch of wild greens.
She performs a desperate rescue with her bare hands, then wipes away the blood under her family's astonished gazes.
"Steal the food? Violence is the last resort."
Her weapon is the knowledge in her mind.
She identifies wild plants, improves farming tools, prevents epidemics, and establishes rules.
When the tree bark has all been gnawed away and people's spirits are broken, she uses knowledge far beyond her time as a spark to light the whole village's path to survival.
This is the hard-won rise of a leader armed with knowledge. There is no romance, only trust forged in desperate circumstances and the miracle of ordinary people creating a way to survive with their own hands.
