Pokemon: Growing Stronger from the Bottom of Team Rocket

One day, Jiang Longyuan and his older sister, Jiang Wuxi, transmigrate to another world.

This world is just like the Pokemon world from their previous life, but unlike the utopia in the anime, it is rife with filth and evil. All sorts of immoral and illegal acts happen at every turn.

Separated from his sister, Jiang Longyuan begins climbing the ranks while searching for her.

When he discovers that the company where he has found temporary refuge belongs to Team Rocket, he says, “I have no interest in ruining my own livelihood. As long as the benefits are good enough, I never ask who my boss is.”

To him, Team Rocket and the Pokémon League are both just stepping stones on his way up. As long as the benefits are great enough, he can switch sides at any time.

Of course, the same goes for his sister.

So, in exchange for a Legendary Pokemon, Jiang Longyuan strikes a deal with Team Rocket's higher-ups: “I'll help you poach an Alliance investigator. You can give that one to me.”

In the end, Jiang Longyuan even sets his sights on the seat beneath Giovanni.

With a smile, Jiang Longyuan says, “Sis, I want that.”

“The seat or the person?”

“The seat.”

“Fine.”
