Breaking the Azure Mystery

Think the chosen one can only be a prince? That’s a narrow view.

When the Nine Stars aligned, the Ziwei Star descended into the world.

The entire Kingdom of Ze believed the Empress’s child was the true dragon born to inherit Heaven’s mandate.

But no one knew that the true chosen daughter had long ago had her birth date switched.

She is Mu Miaolin, the sole chosen one in an ancient prophecy, and a discarded daughter the imperial family has completely forgotten.

Her birth mother died a tragic death, her birth father is cold-hearted, the Empress relentlessly closes in, and the Crown Prince is arrogant and domineering.

She could have hidden away in the countryside and lived a peaceful life, but her gift for communicating with spirit beasts and her astonishing genius for natural philosophy ultimately pushed her onto the chessboard of fate.

With no golden finger and no powerful clan backing her, she starts from nothing and plans every step carefully.

As a child, she eases the suffering of the people. She uses a marriage alliance as a chess piece to seize military power across the land. With the blood of divine descendants, she inherits the fortune of Heaven and Earth. Even the lofty gods can become pieces she uses to break the deadlock.

The world mocks her rustic origins, saying she knows only how to play and has no right to meddle in imperial power.

But they do not know that she has never wanted the honor of being a princess. What she wants is the vast realm and the supreme dragon throne.

She is no princess waiting to be saved. She is an empress for the ages, commanding the board, ruling the realm, and uniting all of China!
