The World's Most Hated System

The protagonist, Lin Xiaoye, is a young village rascal whose dream is to own the village massage parlor. One day, he “rescues” a scruffy old Daoist. To repay him for “a meal’s kindness,” the old man forcibly passes on his power, but it turns out to be the “World’s Most Hated System,” which takes effect as soon as it is bound.

System rules: The worse your reputation, the more hate points you earn, and the faster your internal energy grows. Doing good deeds for justice? Your internal energy stagnates. Cheating and cutting corners, and making righteous experts furious? Your cultivation advances by leaps and bounds.

The central conflict: Lin Xiaoye’s ultimate dream of opening a massage parlor is completely at odds with the System’s task of becoming the most hated man in the world. He has to keep bouncing between “maintaining his persona to earn cultivation” and “the little kindness left in his heart,” creating endless comedy along the way.
