Investiture of the Gods: Tricking Nuwa, Starting with Daji

Reborn before the Investiture of the Gods, I became a male fox spirit in Xuanyuan Tomb. My elder sister is the model for Daji, and my backers are the Three Human Emperors. When Nuwa orders us to bring chaos to Chaoge, I pull out the red threads of fate instead. I tie one to King Zhou and start matchmaking across the Primordial World. But the more threads I tie, the more tangled things get, until even the fortunes of the sages’ lineages are knotted beyond repair. Nuwa is dumbfounded: “I told you to ruin the fortunes of the Shang Dynasty, not bring down the entire Investiture of the Gods!”
