[Marriage first, love later + running away while pregnant + some things cannot be mended] (Everything is still undecided)
Bai Jian, unemployed right after graduation, goes to Hong Kong City to clear her head. By chance, she saves the grandfather of the city's richest man, and ends up bound to Ji Sichen, the cold and haughty heir to a powerful Hong Kong family.
Throughout their three-year marriage, he keeps strictly to his boundaries, offering her respect but no affection. Yet as they spend their days together, she falls for him. Overjoyed by the news of her pregnancy, she plans to tell him while he's drunk, only to overhear the cruelest truth: “I married her only to appease Grandpa. I never loved her.”
Her love betrayed, her heart turned to ash, Bai Jian signs the divorce papers that very night and slips away to another place without a trace.
Five years later, Ji Sichen searches for his wife like a madman. A video of him humbly begging her to take him back sweeps through Hong Kong City, and everyone knows the once-arrogant Young Master Ji has become a jilted lover.
At a lavish family banquet, he gets drunk and corners her on the balcony. Red-eyed, he chokes out his remorse, pleading with every word for her to come back. Bai Jian looks up with a faint smile, her voice cool and resolute. “Mr. Ji, long time no see. I'm married now. I have a husband and a child.”
Her words send the whole room into an uproar.
It's good-looking, I guess it's be, and the title of the novel also says it's about falling in love with someone wrong.
The storyline is very interesting. Ji commits suicide and the heroine's marriage has no possibility of reconciliation.
Different openings, keep reading to see if there are any surprises!
The content is exciting and beautiful!
Satisfied, thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up.
There is no such thing as a good man, and if the heroine chooses to marry one of them in the end, it will bring down the whole book. Direct and unique beauty is the right way
I just started watching this work, and it aroused my desire to continue reading. Follow this author and look forward to new works.
A very nice book.
Both male protagonists have hurt the female protagonist, 😮💨Why do I have to choose one of the two?
