Mad Daoist: Insisting on Physically Exorcising the Heartless

At an execution ground in the Tang dynasty, a Taoist priest suddenly fell from the sky.

He didn't chant spells or draw talismans. He pulled out a copy of Gray's Anatomy and pointed at the presiding official, cursing, “Severe fatty liver! Who gave you permission to practice illegal bloodletting?”

With one slash, the executioner's tendon snapped.

With one finger, the censor-in-chief wet himself on the spot.

They called it sorcery.

He called it a nerve block.

When he treated a female general, he said she merely had “disordered keratin metabolism.”

When he examined the Imperial Preceptor, he said he had “hallucinatory delusions.”

He chased a virus called “Xu Xian” from the Tang dynasty to the Ming and Qing, and from West Lake to the Forbidden City.

At last, beneath Leifeng Pagoda, he found a note:

“Municipal Mental Health Center: Surgical Payment Receipt”

Patient: Xiao Yueyue**
