There's also a major bit of headcanon: Wakatou Hiyoshi is a descendant of the chief priest of Hiyoshi Taisha.
As for the male lead, it's Atobe. But I haven't figured out how to get them together yet. I'll see how it goes. I might not finish it at all. And every time I write romance between the leads, it comes out awkward. I can't get the male lead's personality right, and even after I finish, I feel like their relationship is too boring.
