Sword Sect prodigy Lin Xuan is ambushed by his senior brother Li Mu and thrown into the sect’s forbidden ground, the Netherdark Abyss. On the brink of death, he encounters the remnant soul of Yunxiaozi, founding patriarch of the Tianyan Sword Sect, and inherits the ancient killing formation, the Immortal-Slaying Sword Formation Diagram. He rebuilds his foundation in the abyss’s deadly depths, tempers his body with baleful energy, and forms an Immortal-Slaying Sword Seed. Three months later, he returns with a broken sword, kills the guards of the abyss, and slaughters the inner sect’s lackeys, embarking on a cold-blooded path of revenge. From punishing the senior brothers and elders who framed him, to exposing the corruption within the sect and fighting outsiders coveting the sword formation, he ultimately uses the sword in his hand to reshape the sect’s order and kill everyone who deserves to die.
