During a delivery, 22-year-old delivery rider Lin Ye witnesses a battle between supernatural beings and unexpectedly obtains a mysterious “gray coin.” The coin can't directly grant him power to destroy heaven and earth, but it lets him “see and exploit every loophole in the world's rules,” from blind spots in the traffic system and gaps in financial data to the price of supernatural abilities and omissions in ancient pacts.
